CEDC Housing Initiatives

Several years ago, the CEDC Board of Directors recognized the shortage of quality and affordable housing as a shortcoming for recruiting new businesses and workforce to our community. Since then, we have been working to develop, incentivize, and promote the growth of housing stock, both single and multi-family homes, all across Custer County. We have partnered with NIFA, the City of Broken Bow, the Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund, the Rural Workforce Housing Fund, the Community Development Block Grant, as well as funds donated locally to inject capital for local housing initiatives.
