Who We Are

The Custer Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to promote economic development in Custer County, Nebraska. The organization was founded in 2003 and is focused on supporting and growing local businesses, attracting new businesses and residents to the area, and fostering quality of life for the community.
CEDC is governed by a board of directors made up of business leaders and community members. The organization is funded through membership fees. If you or your business is interested in becoming a member of CEDC, please visit our Members page.

Our mission is to provide leadership to facilitate the retention, expansion, formation, attraction, and revitalization of business in Custer County. We provide a range of services and resources to help businesses succeed, including business planning assistance, access to capital, workforce development, and marketing support.
